The hat is made of lightweight fabric and the brim is wide enough to protect the face and neck. Half of the brim is reinforced to be a little more rigid and not to give the wind a grip. You can choose to wear it on the neck or face side. The softer part of the brim can be folded outwards and pinned with the clip provided, or folded inwards for a cap effect, with the neck free. My head size is 57,5 cm and the hat fits well, without being too tight. This hat is nice and well thought out.
